Mari Mendidik Anak Sebaik-baiknya
Sabda Nabi SAW:
Setiap manusia sejak lahir sudah diberi 3 potensi yang dapat dikembangkan yaitu potensi rohani (Jiwa dan hati) , Jasmani dan Akal. Ketiga potensi ini tumbuh berkembang sesuai dengan umurnya. Setiap pendidik perlu mengetahui didikan apa yang dapat diberikan sesuai dengan umurnya.
Islam sangat memperhatikan pendidikan jasmani. Ini terbukti dari Hadits Rasulullah:
Manusia yang tidak menggunakan akal dalam kehidupannya bisa saja selamat di akhirat, tapi ia tidak dapat membawa kemajuan peradaban di dunia.
Berikanlah anak sarana untuk mengembangkan pertumbuhan akalnya dengan banyak membaca dan mengamati alam sekitar. Jangan lupa untuk selalu memasukkan rasa bersyukur terhadap nikmat Allah, rasa kagum terhadap ciptaan Allah, jika anak mendapatkan ilmu ilmu baru. Berilah kesempatan anak untuk bereksplorasi, bereksperimen dan mendesain sesuatu yang bermanfaat bagi dirinya dan lingkungannya sesuai dengan usianya.

Prophet Muhammad:
"Every baby born on the nature of the two parents is they who make them Jew or a Christian or a Zoroastrian."
Hadeeth of the Prophet above shows that children are entrusted to parents Alah. It is the responsibility of parents to educate children as possible so that someday could be servant and caliph who fight for the name of God on this earth. Later, the parents will be asked in the afterlife if it is taking seriously educate their children. Children who are pious and solehah will help both parents in the hereafter while the rebellious child will burden his parents. Prayer and pious children solehah a practice that is not interrupted when his parents died. In addition to his parents and solehah pious child can benefit the environment and surrounding communities.
How to Educate Children with Good and True
Parents should understand only too well that the position of the parents of the child are educators, while the child is educated. Invite your child to exercise, perform daily activities in the home, and doing other useful physical work. Adjust the level of activity with age. Give your child the lawful and good food. Unclean food can adversely affect the spiritual development.Development of Intellect
By using human minds can create a variety of technologies that simplify life in the world. Reason is a tool, it is not the core of an education. If humans have been well educated, he will use all his wits to goodness, if he did not get a good education, he will use his intellect for the benefit of all.
Humans who do not use reason in their lives could have been saved in the afterlife, but he can not bring the progress of civilization in the world.

Adalah tanggung jawab orang tua untuk mendidik anak anak sebaik baiknya agar kelak dapat menjadi hamba dan khalifah yang memperjuangkan nama Tuhan di muka bumi ini.Kelak para orang tua akan ditanya di akhirat apakah sudah bersungguh sungguh mendidik anak anaknya. Anak yang soleh dan solehah akan membantu kedua orangtuanya di akhirat kelak sementara anak yang durhaka akan membebani kedua orang tuanya. Doa anak soleh dan solehah menjadi amalan yang tidak terputus ketika kedua orang tuanya meninggal. Selain kepada kedua orang tuanya anak soleh dan solehah dapat memberi manfaat pada lingkungan dan masyarakat sekitarnya.
Bagaimana Mendidik Anak yang Baik dan Benar
Orang tua harus memahami betul betul bahwa posisi orang tua terhadap anak adalah pendidik, sementara anak adalah yang dididik. Seorang pendidik harus dapat mengetahui seperti apa ia membentuk anak anaknya dan dengan cara apa. Perkembangan Jasmani
Jika jasmani dididik dengan baik, anak akan menjadi sehat dan kuat. Anak dengan stamina fisik yang prima adalah aset yang sangat berharga karena energi nya berguna untuk belajar dan berbakti pada masyarakat. Anak yang jarang sakit memiliki kesempatan dan waktu untuk berkembang lebih baik dibanding anak yang sering sakit.Islam sangat memperhatikan pendidikan jasmani. Ini terbukti dari Hadits Rasulullah:
[ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِىُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ ]Ajaklah anak untuk berolah raga, melakukan aktivitas sehari hari dalam rumah, dan melakukan pekerjaan fisik lain yang bermanfaat. Sesuaikan aktivitas dengan tingkat usianya. Berikan anak makanan yang halal dan baik. Makanan yang haram dapat berpengaruh buruk pada perkembangan rohaninya.
“Mukmin yang kuat lebih baik dan lebih dicintai Allah daripada Mukmin yang lemah.” (HR. Muslim).
“Ajarilah anak-anak kalian berkuda, berenang dan memanah”[HR. Bukhari- Muslim]
Perkembangan Akal
Dengan menggunakan akalnya manusia dapat membuat berbagai teknologi yang mempermudah kehidupan di dunia. Akal bersifat sebagai alat bantu, ia bukanlah inti dari suatu pendidikan. Jika manusia telah dididik dengan baik, ia akan menggunakan segala akalnya untuk kebaikan, jika ia tidak mendapatkan pendidikan yang baik, ia akan menggunakan akal untuk kepentingan dirinya saja.Manusia yang tidak menggunakan akal dalam kehidupannya bisa saja selamat di akhirat, tapi ia tidak dapat membawa kemajuan peradaban di dunia.
